Getting married on the North Shore of Lake Travis? Your venue is the easy part. Finding beds for 40, 80 or 150 guests is the hard part. Jonestown has no hotels, and most of the hotels venues suggest are in Cedar Park or at The Domain, a long drive back after the reception on winding Hill Country roads.

That is where we come in. Hill Country Lakes Rentals manages private homes and villas at The Hollows Resort in Jonestown and in Lago Vista, a short drive from the North Shore’s wedding venues. We already host wedding guests and wedding parties for venues like Villa Antonia, and we would love to host yours.

How the wedding room block works

You ask for a code. Tell us the venue, the date and how many guests need a place to stay. We set up a private code just for your wedding (it cannot be guessed, so strangers cannot use it).
You share it. Put the code and a link to this page on your wedding website or in your invitations.
Guests book their own stay. Each guest picks a home, chooses Rate: Wedding Block, types your code and books online. The Wedding Block rate takes $50 off per bedroom for stays of two nights or more.
No contract, no attrition. Unlike a hotel block, you never pay for rooms your guests do not book.

Why guests prefer a home to a hotel

Everyone together. Families share a kitchen and a living room instead of four separate hotel rooms.
Close to the venue. Fewer late-night drives after the reception.
Room to get ready. A home with good light, a big table and space for the hair and makeup team beats a hotel room every time.

Wedding party and family homes

Most North Shore venues have few hotels nearby: Jonestown has none, and Villa Antonia's own guide points guests to Cedar Park, about 10 miles away. Hill Country Lakes Rentals has private homes and villas at The Hollows Resort in Jonestown and in Lago Vista, a short drive from venues such as The Laiken and Villa Antonia. We give the couple a private code for their wedding. Guests type that code on any home's page, pick their dates and book their own stay online at the Wedding Block rate. Nobody signs a hotel-style block contract and the couple is never on the hook for unbooked rooms.

Yes. Stays of two nights or more booked with the couple's code get the Wedding Block rate: $50 off per bedroom per stay, with the cleaning fee built in. The code only works for that wedding's dates.

No. Our homes are lodging only. Jonestown's short-term rental rules prohibit weddings, receptions and parties at rental homes, and the resort communities have their own rules. Book a venue for the event and let us handle where everyone sleeps.

Yes. The Hollows has homes and villas close together, so the bridal party, the groomsmen and both families can stay within a short walk of each other. Use the Group Stay planner or call us and we will put neighboring homes together.

Spring (March to May) and fall (September to November) are peak wedding seasons on Lake Travis, and homes near the venues book out first. Ask for your code as soon as you have a date, ideally 6 to 12 months ahead.
